Karen is passionate about increasing the awareness of children's communication and feeding needs in our local community. She loves sharing information with other professionals such as educators, preschool teachers and teachers. She has delivered workshops at child care centres and primary schools in the past.

Mentoring

We know how exciting it is for new speech pathologists to start assessing and treating clients! Yet, we understand it can be challenging for young clinicians or sole practitioners as they may feel confused, stressed and lonely from time to time.

Karen loves mentoring! She has supervised new graduates and has offered online mentoring to speech pathologists. She loves supporting clinicians by sharing information, brainstorming ideas and solutions together. She would love to see young speech pathologists staying in the profession instead of feeling 'burnt out'.
