We have a special interest in providing speech pathology assessments and treatments to babies, toddlers, preschoolers and early primary school students (aged 0-5) with communication and feeding difficulties including:
- early feeding difficulties (e.g. difficulty transitioning to lumpy foods, failure to thrive/poor weight gain, fussy eaters)
- speech sound disorders (e.g. lisps, missing consonants within words (e.g. a 5 year old child saying 'poon' for 'spoon'))
- language difficulties (e.g. a 2 year old child who uses less than 50 words)
- stuttering
- difficulties in emergent literacy (e.g. the ability to recognise that the word 'sun' starts with 'sssssssss')
- social communication difficulties
- children with special needs (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down's Syndrome, rare genetic syndrome)
- children with global developmental delays
